PURVIEW

Provides the criminal-procedure framework for investigation and adjudication of offences involving digital evidence, documents, devices and electronic communications. Its AI relevance lies in the practical process of obtaining, producing, searching and preserving the digital material needed to investigate AI-enabled crime, including deepfake fraud, cyber attacks, automated scams and misuse of AI systems. For privacy, its search, production and investigation mechanisms are essential when personal data, logs, devices or communications become evidence.
