Albania's Law No. 124/2024 on Personal Data Protection, approved on 19 December 2024 and promulgated on 15 January 2025, is aligned with the GDPR and the Law Enforcement Directive (EU) 2016/680. It has extraterritorial scope and repeals Law No. 9887 of 2008.
