PURVIEW
Amends the Telecom Cyber Security Rules, 2024 and therefore modifies the operative cybersecurity framework for telecom entities. For AI, the amendments are relevant where they affect monitoring, reporting, security controls, provider responsibilities or other operational requirements that apply to AI-enabled telecom systems and network functions. For privacy, the amended Rules reinforce the need to secure telecom environments containing high-volume subscriber, device and network information against increasingly automated cyber threats.
