PURVIEW

Addresses the use of advanced AI tools for vulnerability detection within the securities-market ecosystem. Its relevance is twofold: AI can materially improve defensive security by identifying weaknesses faster, but it can also introduce risks if scanning, testing or automated remediation is uncontrolled. For regulated entities, it is useful when designing governance around AI-assisted security tools, including authorisation, controlled testing, validation of findings, protection of sensitive information and human oversight before consequential actions are taken. It reinforces the principle that using AI for security still requires disciplined security governance and accountability.
